Your task is to learn the legend of Zeus, explain the mechanism of myth creation, find out information on how Europe came to be and how it got its name. You can use a variety of sources, such as encyclopaedias or maps. At the end, you are expected to present the information you managed to obtain by means of a drama, multimedia presentation and a poster.

You are now going to get divided into four groups:

Artists

They are going to explore the motif of Europa being kidnapped by Zeus in various works of art and present their discoveries on a poster and in a comic.

Writers

They are going to explore how legends and myths are born and prepare a game to illustrate this cultural mechanism.

Actors

They are going to explore the details of the myth of Zeus and Europa, prepare a script, decorations, costumes and props. They are going to perform the show to the rest of the class.

ICT experts

They are going to explore the beginnings of our continent and the story of how it got its name and prepare a multimedia presentation.
